Adam Schiff for comments he made several years ago about investigations into Donald Trump’s ties to Russia, rebuking the Democrat and frequent critic of the former president along party lines.Schiff, who will stand in front of the House while the resolution is read, becomes the 25th House lawmaker to be censured. He was defiant ahead of the vote, saying he will wear the formal disapproval as a “badge of honor” and charged his GOP colleagues of doing the former president’s bidding.“I will not yield,” Schiff, who is running for the Senate in his home state, said during debate over the measure. “Not one inch.”More than 20 Republicans voted with Democrats last week to block the censure resolution, but they changed their votes this week after the measure’s sponsor, Republican Rep. BYRON — One person was killed and three others injured Wednesday afternoon in a multi-vehicle collision on Vasco Road, officials said.The collision happened about 2 p.m. on Vasco Road, south of Camino Diablo, on the outskirts of Byron.Initial reports were that at least three vehicles were involved, including a truck and van that collided head-on, authorities said.California Highway Patrol Officer Adam Lane confirmed three vehicles were involved and that the crash occurred when one vehicle tried to pass another using the oncoming lane.One person was pronounced dead at the crash site.Contra Costa Fire Protection District spokesman Steve Hill said three other people were injured and corrected initial information that up to 10 people were injured in the crash.At least two people had to be extricated from the damaged vehicles, Hill.Two were airlifted to a hospital while another was taken by ambulance.The CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.Vasco Road was closed to accom...1 dead, 3 injured in head-on crash near Byron

(KRON) -- Contra Costa County firefighters are responding to a three-vehicle head-on crash on Vasco Road south of Camino Diablo. There are "multiple casualties" involved and one confirmed fatality, according to officials.The accident involved two pickup trucks and a service van, according to ConFire. (KRON) -- A shelter-in-place was ordered for a North Bay fire on Wednesday, according to a Marin County alert. At 4:20 p.m., authorities said the shelter-in-place ended. The vegetation fire is in the community of Woodacre, near 50 Fire Road. County authorities said "very limited evacuations" were ordered.
